Privacy Policy

We admit it – making a privacy policy “inspirational” is a challenge but your privacy is important so what we are going to try and make this easier to understand than most of the other companies.

Here’s what you REALLY need to know:

1. We collect information from the products and services we provide (“Our Services”) that allows us to personalize and improve our offering.
Real World Example: We track how your users are interacting with your white-labeled web app (IHUBApp) and when you login to your App Builder to publish your newest posts we provide your recommendations on how to better improve your user experience.

2. We request and display some personal information to other users and visitors of InspireHUB, which allows users to identify each other.
Real World Example: In your customized IHUBApp your registered users will be able to belong to certain groups and communicate with one another, in the InspireHUB Academy you, your staff, and volunteers can leave comments and questions on the curriculum, and in the App Builder you will be able to see who on your team has recently contributed and published content.

What We Collect

Inspirational (Short Version)

Un-Inspirational (Long But Legally Required) Version

We are collecting the information you are giving us.

Information Collected Upon Registration: When you create or reconfigure an InspireHUB Inc. account, you provide some personal information, such as your name, username, password, and email address. Some of this information, for example, your name and/or organization name and username, is listed publicly on our Services.

We only want to send you emails that actually help you! To do so, we need to find out what doesn’t work.

E-Mail Communications: We may receive a confirmation when you open emails from InspireHUB. We do this to understand what you find helpful and what you find annoying. (We are REALLY committed to not be annoying!) If you email us, we may keep your message, email address and contact information to respond to your request. We will provide an unsubscribe feature to ensure you have the power to not be annoyed!

We protect you and your organization against fraud by confirming that you really are who you say you are.

Building Your App: In order to ensure that no unauthorized individual is able to setup an IHUBApp on behalf of your organization and then be able to collect funds, we have setup an authentication process. We have you submit your publicly listed charitable tax form and fill in a statement that says you have the authority to act on behalf of your organization. Once we receive those two items, we then lookup your organization through a third-party listing and call to confirm. We keep this information secured and once approved we then activate your IHUBApp so you can begin publishing.

Knowing where you are helps us understand things like your time zone and offer up recommendations that means something to you.

Location Information: You may choose to publish your location in your InspireHUB Inc. profile. You may also tell us your location when you enable your computer or mobile device to send us location information. We may use and store information about your location to provide features of our Services, and to improve and customize the Services.

Our cookies are calorie free. They help Our Services remember things and improve your overall experience.

Cookies: Like many websites, we use “cookie” technology to collect additional website usage data and to improve our Services, but we do not require cookies for many parts of our Services such as searching and looking at public user profiles or lists. A cookie is a small data file that is transferred to your computer’s hard disk. InspireHUB Inc. may use both session cookies and persistent cookies to better understand how you interact with our Services, to monitor aggregate usage by our users and web traffic routing on our Services, and to customize and improve our Services. You can instruct your browser, by changing its settings, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit. However, some Services may not function properly if you disable cookies.

We see where your users are clicking within your IHUBApp so you can know what they are actually interested in!

Links: InspireHUB Inc. may keep track of how you interact with links across our Services, including our email notifications, third-party services, and client applications, by redirecting clicks or through other means. We do this to help improve our Services and to be able to share aggregate click statistics such as how many times a particular link was clicked on.

We use other companies to help us deliver Our Services.

We leverage other services you are already using to make our platform stronger. For example: if your Users have a Facebook account you will be able to use it to log-in.

Cross Posting: If you connect your InspireHUB Inc. account to your account on another service in order to cross-post between InspireHUB Inc. and that service, the other service may send us your registration or profile information on that service and other information that you authorize.
